Choose products around your itinerary

Lay out the journey before choosing the luggage. A city weekend, island transfer, and safari have different needs. Check every carrier’s baggage dimensions and weight allowance, including small-aircraft segments. Choose a bag you can comfortably move and lift, rather than the largest one permitted.

Make a small essentials kit

Keep travel documents, essential medication, payment cards, and a change of clothes accessible. A cable pouch, reusable bottle, eye mask, and light layer can earn their place through repeated use. Packing cubes can help organise clothing, but do not create extra baggage allowance.

Check the product details

For a charger or adapter, verify the destination’s socket type, your device’s voltage requirements, and current airline rules for batteries and power banks. For headphones or a travel pillow, prioritise fit and comfort. Look at dimensions, compatibility, warranty, repair options, and return terms before buying.

Edit before departure

Remove duplicate items and anything supplied by the hotel that you are comfortable using. Bring footwear and clothing suited to the activities you have actually booked. This is a category checklist, not a list of tested products or paid endorsements.
